I love this show, because top level executives take the time out of their busy schedules to actually go to great lengths to work at their own companies ‘undercover’. Some even don disguises so that their employees will not recognize them. Then they pose as normal, everyday workers in whatever field or line of work their company offers. This is so they can work alongside everyone and see how they truly feel about their jobs without bias or fear of being fired.
To coin a phrase: “Can you hear me now?” You’ve probably heard it a million times before. Those famous last words that may end a career that has lasted 10, 20, or even 30 or more years: “I’ve had it! I quit!” What causes someone that has spent possibly a quarter or even half of their adult life to leave a place that has been their “bread and butter” for so long? On the converse, what causes companies to lose someone that have been loyal, as it were, to the same entity for so long?
Yes, thousands of employers daily lose some of their prime talented workers due to several factors. Factory workers, airline baggage handlers, customer service representatives, nurses, doctors, and lawyers. The list goes on and on, and comes from a host of varied backgrounds.
